HELP!!! Need help potty training my dog! If i don't get her potty trained she has to go to our animal shelter!?

I have a little Yorkshire Terrier female, she is 4 months old and we are having trouble potty training her. If i don't get her potty trained she has to leave and I've only had her for 2 weeks. My mom and dad don't want her peeing and pooping in our brand new house that we picked everything out ourselves. I really need help potty training her because I don't want to give her away to someone for less that $50 when I paid $300 for her with my own hard earned chore allowence money thing....
